How to crack MAT 2010?

All India Management Aptitude Testing Service ( AIMATS), New Delhi organizes the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) quarterly a year in the months of January, May, September and December. The test is conducted since 1988, while screening candidates for MBA and relevant programmers in business schools. MAT got approval as a national level test by HRD Ministry in the year 2003. MAT score cards are accepted at any international B-Schools or national schools for admissions in the related programmers. There are a total number of 160 MAT Colleges. The minimum set qualification for MAT Test is Bachelors or an equivalent degree in any subject of a recognized university. A final-year student can also take the test provisionally. In general, minimum percentage requirement in graduation, varies from different Management Institutes/ universities.

Conventional test method for MAT Question Paper will be conducted only once, between 1000 to 1230 hrs on February 07 th, 2010, while unconventional method of computer based test can be given in three different time slots everyday from 13th February onwards. Only a limited number of seats are existing at any city for computer based test, hence the candidates left will have to go through Paper Based Test on 07th February, 2010. However, the test is held just for few days, candidates are not permitted to attempt the exam more than once during February 2010.


MAT Questions' General Format

MAT sample papers comprise of five sections with multiple-choice objective type questions. 40 marks is given to each section, so it makes a total of 200 marks. Maximum time duration is 150 minutes (2 and half hours). There is no negative marking for the wrong answers. Your future is decided by very first four sections, as fifth one is General Awareness, which is considered by only a few of the institutes.

Language Comprehension- This section of MAT sample Papers can be answered by first reading the passage cautiously and then solving it accordingly.

Mathematical Skills: This part can fetch you 100%, if attempted successfully. This target can be achieved with little bit of practise of the simple arithmetic problems.
